Agdz

From Marrakech, access to the High Atlas through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (pastureland at 2260m). From Telouet (kasbah of the Glaoui) and through the Ounila valley we have a wonderful view of Berber villages perched on mountainsides. Then we go to the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou before reaching Ouarzazate, city of the cinema at the gates of the desert and after Agdz through the Tizi-N-Tinififft pass : a road going across harsh and arid landscapes. We follow the route of the caravans leading us now across the lush palm grove of the Drâa Valley.

Chegaga

After Zagora, an ancient caravan city, we reach Tamegroute (Visit ) After the ancient village of M’hamid we take the access track to the Chegaga dunes (300m) and discover varied and stunning landscapes (erg, reg, hamada, oasis). After enjoying the spectacular sunset with a dromedary ride in the sand dunes, it is time to bivouac in a Berber tent.

Dry lake Iriki

Return to Marrakech The track goes across lake Iriki and reaches the wonderful palm-grove of Foum Zguid. Return journey via Tazenakht - renowned for its carpet weaving - and Amerzgane to Marrakech by Tizi-N-Tichka pass.
